Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roger Dryden got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Dorchester's Liam Monk got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 13th play minutes Jasper Riad shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Thom Lineker and just under the crossbar into goal. 18 minutes into the match, Dorchester's Liam Monk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thom Lineker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match, Liam Monk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thom Lineker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thom Lineker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jasper Riad in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Monk came free, but Thom Lineker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liam Monk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Gus Dunn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Dorchester players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dorchester booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gus Dunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Thom Lineker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Thom Lineker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Riad. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Thom Lineker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Riad in the 55th minute of play. Sean Barraclough charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sean Barraclough the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sean Barraclough kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Howard Whitford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thom Lineker having to make a save. Jasper Riad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Thom Lineker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Monk in the 73rd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Thom Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chesney Ely charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chesney Ely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dorchester getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Chesney Ely hit a great ball. Manchester United's Sean Barraclough shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joel Hornsby but with some difficulty. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Thom Lineker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorchester's Joel Hornsby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Dorchester from getting a goal against them. When Jasper Riad came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Dorchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasper Riad couldn't finish the play. In the 89th match minute, Dorchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chesney Ely to maneuver through the defense. Dorchester's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Cliff Cox scored to the left of an out of position Joel Hornsby, making the score, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dorchester fans cheered their team off the field, for while Manchester United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
