In the 8th match minute, Saltash was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Brumfitt to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Hubbard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Alan Meechan made a huge save. A collision led to F.C.Munchen getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joey Shakespeare hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Abraham Hubbard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.Munchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Hubbard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keiran Driver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Francis Welsh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keiran Driver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Welsh having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Glyn Bedford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan Meechan was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glyn Bedford was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Hubbard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Glyn Bedford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glyn Bedford struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alan Meechan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Munchen. The crowd rose to their feet as Keiran Driver kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francis Welsh. That made the score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. Harry Brumfitt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Glyn Bedford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alan Meechan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glyn Bedford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Meechan having to interfere. Alan Meechan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glyn Bedford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Saltash's Marlon Couzens got a free kick in the 90th minute. Pat Seabourne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alan Meechan. Saltash's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of F.C.Munchen booed when Saltash was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Brumfitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Crtichell was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 95th minute, Simon Crtichell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saltash eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
