The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Duo City getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Michael Cousens hit a great ball. Josh Senior kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Bryan Dransfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Vance Wicks made a huge save. Bryan Dransfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vance Wicks didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a rather tough play, azza united's Josh Senior got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 26 played minutes Duo City got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Beverley. The audience was convinced that Lenny Harper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gav Lewington was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Vance Wicks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Fry in the 30th minute of the match. azza united's Vance Wicks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Fry in the 31st minute of play. Gav Lewington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Hutchinson in the 33rd minute of the match. Duo City's Michael Cousens got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Duo City's Vance Wicks threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Austin Fry, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Austin Fry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vance Wicks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lewis Beverley's late challenge caught a azza united's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lewis Beverley helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of azza united booed when Duo City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lewis Beverley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duo City's goalkeeper Gav Lewington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Austin Fry to strike the kick off in the second half. Lenny Harper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gav Lewington having to make a save. Vance Wicks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Fry in the 58th minute of play. Bryan Dransfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vance Wicks having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Duo City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Beverley to maneuver through the defense. Vance Wicks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Dransfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lenny Harper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Hutchinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Austin Fry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Dransfield in the 81st minute of play forced azza united's goalkeeper Vance Wicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lenny Harper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bryan Dransfield's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vance Wicks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Michael Cousens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vance Wicks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vance Wicks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Dransfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Bryan Dransfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Duo City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
