Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 5) Lenny Harper made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Will Wiseman during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, azza united's Will Wiseman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damon Osbourne in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vance Wicks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zane Clement struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Vance Wicks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flushing. Damon Osbourne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vance Wicks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Flushing's zone, Lenny Harper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loyd Bamford came out of the goal and Lenny Harper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Josh Senior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loyd Bamford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vance Wicks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Osbourne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Hutchinson might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loyd Bamford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Hutchinson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Lenny Harper reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Loyd Bamford. The goal made the score 1-0. After 35 played minutes Flushing got a freekick which was hit by Zane Clement. After 37 minutes of play, Flushing's Damon Osbourne made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vance Wicks was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 played minutes Flushing got a freekick which was hit by Rich Allanson. Vance Wicks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Allanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Vance Wicks came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Flushing's Rich Allanson. But to his dismay, Rich Allanson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Damon Osbourne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loyd Bamford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Hutchinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damon Osbourne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Vance Wicks skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vance Wicks was a little too slow when Damon Osbourne got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-3. Felix Hutchinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loyd Bamford having to interfere. Josh Senior charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josh Senior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to azza united getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Josh Senior hit a great ball. Zane Clement struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Vance Wicks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flushing. azza united's Vance Wicks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save azza united from getting a goal against them. Flushing were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after azza united's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jordan Appleton took the corner. Flushing's Jordan Appleton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vance Wicks in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vance Wicks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zane Clement's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Vance Wicks was a little too slow when Zane Clement got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. Flushing's Loyd Bamford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Hutchinson in the 93rd minute of play. The Flushing supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flushing would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
