After some careless play in the Edgeinvestor co uk defense, Kirk Rhodes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Junior Shuttleworth. The Edgeinvestor co uk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Junior Shuttleworth should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes Edgeinvestor co uk got a freekick which was hit by Bryan McCartney. After 15 minutes, Kirk Rhodes made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Edgeinvestor co uk's Junior Shuttleworth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kirk Rhodes took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Junior Shuttleworth. Junior Shuttleworth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Glen Cornish struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Junior Shuttleworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansfield Town. Edgeinvestor co uk's Junior Shuttleworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirk Rhodes in the 27th minute of play. Glen Cornish struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Junior Shuttleworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mansfield Town. In the 30th minute, Kirk Rhodes made a precise shot to the right of Junior Shuttleworth. Edgeinvestor co uk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Mansfield Town's Alan Morcom got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Edgeinvestor co uk booed when Mansfield Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Morcom didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Rhodes in the 39th minute of play forced Edgeinvestor co uk's goalkeeper Junior Shuttleworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirk Rhodes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Shuttleworth having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stu Nicholls stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kirk Rhodes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Junior Shuttleworth came out and tried to block the shot, but Kirk Rhodes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 51st minute. If Stu Nicholls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stu Nicholls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Edgeinvestor co uk's Lee Craven got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Kirk Rhodes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Glen Cornish hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Edgeinvestor co uk's Junior Shuttleworth got control of the ball when Glen Cornish tried to sneak it across the goal line. Junior Shuttleworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Junior Shuttleworth stood somewhat misplaced when Kirk Rhodes came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 73 minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Kirk Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mansfield Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Kirk Rhodes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Junior Shuttleworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 78 minutes, Kirk Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mansfield Town's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kirk Rhodes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glen Cornish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Junior Shuttleworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kirk Rhodes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Junior Shuttleworth. That made the score 0-8 in the 82 minute of play. A collision led to Mansfield Town getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Shane Crabtree hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Glen Cornish dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Junior Shuttleworth, 0-9. Junior Shuttleworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Rhodes in the 91st minute of the match. Junior Shuttleworth came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mansfield Town's Glen Cornish. But to his dismay, Glen Cornish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10.
