Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, North Solihull FC's Sammy Housham got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfie Kennedy in the 3rd minute of play forced North Solihull FC's goalkeeper Sacha Chipperfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, North Solihull FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conal Rigg came free, but Sacha Chipperfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tufnell Park's zone, Glen Tomlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Croxford came out of the goal and Glen Tomlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Larry Gallacher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tufnell Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Solihull FC the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Tufnell Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Larry Gallacher to maneuver through the defense. Tufnell Park's Carl Croxford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Ginn in the 14th minute of play. Carl Croxford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Ginn, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With his leg Carl Croxford managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when North Solihull FC's Glen Tomlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conal Rigg in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sacha Chipperfield saved North Solihull FC from getting behind. Glen Tomlins short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Carl Croxford to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfie Kennedy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacha Chipperfield having to interfere. Alfie Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 44 minutes on the clock, Sammy Housham commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glen Tomlin made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Glen Tomlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Carl Croxford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glen Tomlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Carl Croxford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vic Bush during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to North Solihull FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Vic Bush hit a great ball. Sacha Chipperfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfie Kennedy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conal Rigg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Sacha Chipperfield made a huge save. Alfie Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sacha Chipperfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Tomlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Carl Croxford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vic Bush's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Croxford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Glen Tomlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Glen Tomlin put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carl Croxford. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
