The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Robbie Ferrell put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sacha Chipperfield. Bryan McCartney kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Junior Shuttleworth was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Vic Bush capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vic Bush really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 24th minute of the match, Glen Tomlin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Junior Shuttleworth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 26 minutes into the match, North Solihull FC's Anthony Lynch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Junior Shuttleworth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Glen Tomlin lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Junior Shuttleworth. Junior Shuttleworth made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Glen Tomlin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to North Solihull FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lee Deacon hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Robbie Ferrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Sacha Chipperfield was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Tomlin in the 39th minute of play forced Edgeinvestor co uk's goalkeeper Junior Shuttleworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glen Tomlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Shuttleworth having to interfere. Junior Shuttleworth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glen Tomlin went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

55 minutes into the match, Glen Tomlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Junior Shuttleworth. Edgeinvestor co uk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glen Tomlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Jermaine Wainwright hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Junior Shuttleworth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glen Tomlin's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Sidney Ginn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glen Tomlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junior Shuttleworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Ginn, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Glen Tomlin notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Edgeinvestor co uk's Junior Shuttleworth. Junior Shuttleworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dion Littlechild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robbie Ferrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacha Chipperfield having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Sidney Ginn made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Edgeinvestor co uk's Junior Shuttleworth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Glen Tomlin struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Junior Shuttleworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Solihull FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Ginn in the 92nd minute of play forced Edgeinvestor co uk's goalkeeper Junior Shuttleworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lee Craven kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. North Solihull FC had played much better football throughout.
