Sacha Chipperfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Pell in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Radcliffe-on-Trent got a freekick which was hit by Keiran Halliwell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Palmer in the 12th minute of play forced North Solihull FC's goalkeeper Sacha Chipperfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Gerrard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Ginn's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute, Glen Tomlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of North Solihull FC booed when Radcliffe-on-Trent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Ackland didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Piers Pell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sacha Chipperfield was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Sidney Ginn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Guy Gerrard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Ginn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Gerrard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When Piers Pell came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Radcliffe-on-Trent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piers Pell couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Lynch during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

After a rather tough play, Radcliffe-on-Trent's Adrian Ackland got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Guy Gerrard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Ginn's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Sidney Ginn elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Guy Gerrard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Tomlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. North Solihull FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Jo Palmer scored to the left of an out of position Sacha Chipperfield, making the score, 1-1. In the 75th minute, Radcliffe-on-Trent got a penalty, and Jeff Mellon placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. 84 minutes into the match, Jo Palmer notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of North Solihull FC's Sacha Chipperfield. Sacha Chipperfield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piers Pell in the 87th minute of play forced North Solihull FC's goalkeeper Sacha Chipperfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacha Chipperfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Pell in the 89th minute of the match. Guy Gerrard came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by North Solihull FC's Sidney Ginn. But to his dismay, Sidney Ginn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Jo Palmer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Sacha Chipperfield when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The North Solihull FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Radcliffe-on-Trent's performance. The match ended with a win for Radcliffe-on-Trent.
