Spectators: 7391 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 80) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dean Cullen kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Dean Cullen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerry Emmerson, 1-0. Eric Neville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Harrington in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Dean Cullen managed to get in a good position for a shot. City In Disguise's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Cullen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Emmerson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Hertford AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Shawn Harrington hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camron Grayson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Neville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Camron Grayson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Neville was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Dale Lilley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerry Emmerson having to make a save. After 33 played minutes Hertford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Terry Tynan. Jerry Emmerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Cullen, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jerry Emmerson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dale Lilley in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Hertford AFC's Jerry Emmerson got control of the ball when Dale Lilley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Camron Grayson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Dale Lilley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale Lilley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dean Cullen in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerry Emmerson saved Hertford AFC from getting behind. Dale Lilley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Emmerson having to interfere. Hertford AFC's Jerry Emmerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Cullen in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dean Cullen managed to get in a good position for a shot. City In Disguise's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Cullen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Emmerson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79thth minute of the game Shawn Harrington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but City In Disguise's Eric Neville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean Cullen in the 83rd minute of play forced Hertford AFC's goalkeeper Jerry Emmerson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hertford AFC booed when City In Disguise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Draper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dean Cullen kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Eric Neville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shawn Harrington's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
