Barry Beevers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seb Bensley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Nonmaster FC booed when Chelmsford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Kirk Rowling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Barry Beevers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 minutes of play, Chelmsford City's Frankie Collins made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Coe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barry Beevers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Rowling in the 34th minute of play.
