The supporters of Crowborough booed when London City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tosh Thornton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Crowborough's Archie Stockdale tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joel Carter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Cardwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Cardwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Joel Carter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronny Brewer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, London City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Roche to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the game, Robbie Seaward recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Carter. Robbie Seaward showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Cardwell got free with Joel Carter in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Abraham Cardwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abraham Cardwell did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Joel Carter 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Seaward in the 69th minute of play forced London City's goalkeeper Joel Carter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abraham Cardwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Ronny Brewer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Robbie Seaward managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Crowborough's zone, Johnathan Kelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orson Swanson came out of the goal and Johnathan Kelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Cardwell got free with Joel Carter in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robbie Seaward fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Carter having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Crowborough left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than London City.
