Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dipton's Karl Slator started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastien Boatman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Pool, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dominic Blythe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sebastien Boatman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Pool in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastien Boatman saved Dipton from getting behind. In the 11thth minute of the game Dave Pool who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dipton's Sebastien Boatman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jez Joynes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Len Humphreys. Tipton United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Dominic Blythe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastien Boatman. Dipton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominic Blythe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Dave Pool managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Pool was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Craig Titmus hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dominic Blythe might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastien Boatman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominic Blythe ran back to his position shaking his head. Dane Hinshelwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Len Humphreys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Dominic Blythe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastien Boatman having to make a save. Sebastien Boatman was a little too slow when Dave Pool got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Dominic Blythe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastien Boatman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Pool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Tipton United's Dave Pool sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastien Boatman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Dipton's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Pool came free, but Sebastien Boatman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Pool in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastien Boatman saved Dipton from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Dominic Blythe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastien Boatman was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Vince Clarke hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Dave Pool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominic Blythe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Pool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tod Pitt hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Dominic Blythe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sebastien Boatman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dipton's goalkeeper Sebastien Boatman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastien Boatman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Pool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Tipton United's Dominic Blythe fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dominic Blythe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tipton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Blythe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastien Boatman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominic Blythe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Tod Pitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dominic Blythe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Pool received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sebastien Boatman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Tipton United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
