Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Denny Leeson got the match started through his kick off. In the 15thth minute of the game Marek Coulson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luis Mendes's Andy Buckle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Chiverton came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Luis Mendes's Denny Leeson. But to his dismay, Denny Leeson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Luis Mendes's zone, Owen Le Saux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Buckle came out of the goal and Owen Le Saux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Luis Mendes's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Coulson came free, but Andy Buckle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zane Sollit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Andy Buckle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Luis Mendes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Cahill to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Zane Sollit notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Luis Mendes's Andy Buckle. Andy Buckle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Coulson to make the kick off. Zane Sollit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Luis Mendes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thom Furlong to maneuver through the defense. Zane Sollit struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Andy Buckle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All Stars FC. Andy Buckle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Coulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zane Sollit might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Buckle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zane Sollit ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Coulson in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Buckle saved Luis Mendes from getting behind. Andy Buckle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Coulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marek Coulson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, All Stars FC's Zane Sollit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Buckle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Coulson in the 85th minute of play forced Luis Mendes's goalkeeper Andy Buckle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zane Sollit might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Buckle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zane Sollit ran back to his position shaking his head. Thom Furlong charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thom Furlong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thom Furlong hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Zane Sollit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Stars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zane Sollit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. All Stars FC had played much better football throughout.
