Gerry Bowland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gerry Bowland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Decuseară, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Holy Cross Mountains booed when The Myrmidons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reg Jepson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Horea Decuseară who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Myrmidons's Gerry Bowland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horea Decuseară was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Holy Cross Mountains's Reynaldo Mede slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerry Bowland. That made the score 0-8 after 51 minutes of play. 61 minutes into the match, The Myrmidons's goalkeeper Gerry Bowland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 柯翔峰. Gerry Bowland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Mede in the 62nd minute of play. Ian Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gerry Bowland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horea Decuseară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerry Bowland having to interfere. A collision led to Holy Cross Mountains getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Albert Booth hit a great ball. Gerry Bowland made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ian Watson sent off a good shot on target. Simon Davenport kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The Holy Cross Mountains fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Holy Cross Mountains's Horea Decuseară looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gerry Bowland didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-10. If Reynaldo Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
