Billie Middleton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vic Wicks showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Vic Wicks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Middleton having to interfere. Ethan Airton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Middleton having to interfere. Edward Pearson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curtis Wardle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's goalkeeper Billie Middleton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Vic Wicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lambeth FC's Edward Pearson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Verity in the 20th minute of play. Edward Pearson came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's Roger McCunnie. But to his dismay, Roger McCunnie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ethan Airton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lambeth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ethan Airton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billie Middleton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Crispin Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Ethan Airton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Billie Middleton. Ethan Airton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 32 minutes into the game, Vic Wicks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Billie Middleton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vic Wicks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ethan Airton struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Billie Middleton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lambeth FC. If Vic Wicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, one of Snailbeach and Stiperstones United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Lambeth FC's Vic Wicks got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Billie Middleton. The audience was convinced that Vic Wicks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billie Middleton was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Billie Middleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vic Wicks, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Vic Wicks came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Lambeth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vic Wicks couldn't finish the play. Billie Middleton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ethan Airton went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Ethan Airton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Middleton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Pearson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tom Seaward. Vic Wicks struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Billie Middleton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lambeth FC. Vic Wicks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ethan Airton took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billie Middleton. Billie Middleton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. If Vic Wicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ethan Airton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vic Wicks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vic Wicks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Billie Middleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vic Wicks in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billie Middleton saved Snailbeach and Stiperstones United from getting behind. Ethan Airton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billie Middleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Wicks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play, Lambeth FC's Vic Wicks made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billie Middleton was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the game, Ethan Airton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lambeth FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Snailbeach and Stiperstones United the free kick. The supporters of Snailbeach and Stiperstones United booed when Lambeth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ethan Airton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lambeth FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
