Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Craig Rundle to make the kick off. The supporters of Stalowe United booed when Cambridge City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Pitman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darren Fearns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aaron Lawless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Stalowe United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cambridge City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
