Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Banafshe FC's Josh Hatcher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Banafshe FC's zone, Benjamin Faith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathan Fowler came out of the goal and Benjamin Faith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zaq Scholes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Fowler having to interfere. After 8 played minutes F.C.Bulan got a freekick which was hit by Martin Powell. Ralph Forrester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Banafshe FC's Jay Nelson got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nath Hatcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josh Hatcher in the 16th minute of play. Bobby Ricketts, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Banafshe FC booed when F.C.Bulan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grant Nicholls didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Hatcher in the 24th minute of play forced F.C.Bulan's goalkeeper Nath Hatcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Forrester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hatcher having to interfere. If Josh Hatcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, F.C.Bulan's Spike Brodie got a free kick in the 34th minute. Nath Hatcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Forrester, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josh Hatcher in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nath Hatcher saved F.C.Bulan from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaq Scholes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play F.C.Bulan's Spike Brodie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, F.C.Bulan's Spike Brodie got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Stewart Longden, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Josh Hatcher in the 58th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Nath Hatcher kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Josh Hatcher struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Nath Hatcher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banafshe FC. If Josh Hatcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nath Hatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Hatcher in the 73rd minute of the match. Martin Powell kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nath Hatcher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josh Hatcher went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Banafshe FC's Josh Hatcher slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nath Hatcher. That made the score 0-4 after 81 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Hatcher in the 89th minute of play forced F.C.Bulan's goalkeeper Nath Hatcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josh Hatcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nath Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Faith struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nathan Fowler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Bulan. The Banafshe FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Banafshe FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
