With a little luck, Paybridge Celtic's Lewis Winstanley got control of the ball when Benjamin Faith tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iain Steel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nath Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Wesley Charles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.Bulan's Nath Hatcher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugh Ellerby kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, F.C.Bulan's Zaq Scholes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lewis Winstanley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C.Bulan's Zaq Scholes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lewis Winstanley. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. Benjamin Faith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lewis Winstanley made a huge save. Roy Dwyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hatcher having to interfere. Wesley Charles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nath Hatcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Hugh Ellerby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nath Hatcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugh Ellerby, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Iain Steel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nath Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Roy Dwyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paybridge Celtic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Dwyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Zaq Scholes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Paybridge Celtic booed when F.C.Bulan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Almond didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to F.C.Bulan getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Spike Brodie hit a great ball. If Hugh Ellerby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes F.C.Bulan got a freekick which was hit by Zaq Scholes. Roy Dwyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hatcher having to interfere. The Paybridge Celtic fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Paybridge Celtic's Wesley Charles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Zaq Scholes managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Bulan's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaq Scholes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lewis Winstanley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Paybridge Celtic's Hugh Ellerby got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute of the match Bobby Ricketts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lewis Winstanley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paybridge Celtic's Hugh Ellerby got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nath Hatcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Dwyer in the 80th minute. In the 80th match minute, F.C.Bulan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Nicholls to maneuver through the defense. Paybridge Celtic's Lewis Winstanley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Brodie in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Paybridge Celtic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C.Bulan throughout the match.
