Iain Steel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hatcher having to interfere. If Hugh Ellerby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nath Hatcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugh Ellerby in the 15th minute. Nathanial Chilton charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nathanial Chilton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Nathanial Chilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iain Steel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nath Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paybridge Celtic's Lewis Winstanley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant Nicholls in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Paybridge Celtic's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Ricketts came free, but Lewis Winstanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, F.C.Bulan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby Ricketts to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Hugh Ellerby from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Nath Hatcher's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 31st minute, Hugh Ellerby made a precise shot to the right of Nath Hatcher. F.C.Bulan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Paybridge Celtic's Roy Dwyer got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zaq Scholes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lewis Winstanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nath Hatcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Charles in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hugh Ellerby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paybridge Celtic's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugh Ellerby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nath Hatcher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes of play, Paybridge Celtic's Wesley Charles made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nath Hatcher was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Paybridge Celtic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugh Ellerby to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to F.C.Bulan getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Martin Powell hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Roy Dwyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wesley Charles, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 69 minutes, Wesley Charles made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. F.C.Bulan's Nath Hatcher tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugh Ellerby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nath Hatcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Lewis Winstanley made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Grant Nicholls sent off a good shot on target. Will Downing kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 81 played minutes, Paybridge Celtic's Wesley Charles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nath Hatcher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paybridge Celtic reached it. Nath Hatcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Dwyer in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Paybridge Celtic booed when F.C.Bulan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Powell didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iain Steel in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nath Hatcher saved F.C.Bulan from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Bulan's zone, Wesley Charles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nath Hatcher came out of the goal and Wesley Charles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
