After 88 minutes of play The Boys United's Casey Lock was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 89 played minutes The Boys United got a freekick which was hit by Casey Lock. Sean Pearce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Apsden in the 91st minute of the match. Perry Deacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Blackburn having to interfere. The Boys United played a much better game than Telford and deserved their victory. The Telford players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
