Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnnie Howard started the match with the kick off. Zaq Bull sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Glyn Green hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zaq Bull came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Warwick FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaq Bull couldn't finish the play. If Lance Apsden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Telford's Glyn Baxter tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Bob Floyd successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the match, Warwick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnnie Howard came free, but Bob Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Apsden got free with Bob Floyd in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnnie Howard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Floyd having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Nick Braithwaite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ty Cheetham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Warwick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnnie Howard came free, but Bob Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Johnnie Howard suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Warwick FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Telford:s goal. Lance Apsden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Floyd having to interfere. When Harry Bennet came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Telford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Bennet couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Lance Apsden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Warwick FC's Bob Floyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Warwick FC from getting a goal against them. After 44 played minutes Warwick FC got a freekick which was hit by Nick Braithwaite. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sid West in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trevor Blackburn saved Telford from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sid West to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Telford's Lance Apsden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Floyd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Warwick FC's Nick Braithwaite got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bob Floyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Apsden in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Warwick FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glyn Baxter was slow to take the kick. During this time Telford's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Garry Titmus managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Harry Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bob Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lance Apsden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaq Bull got free with Trevor Blackburn in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sid West in the 76th minute of play forced Telford's goalkeeper Trevor Blackburn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Telford's Lance Apsden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Floyd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Warwick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Apsden came free, but Bob Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Lance Apsden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Floyd was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 88th minute, Lance Apsden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Telford fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 92 minutes, Zaq Bull mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warwick FC and the Telford players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zaq Bull kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Telford's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
