The FKS Stal Mielec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sammy Hylton should have stopped the shot. In the 11thth minute of the game Zane Smikle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FKS Stal Mielec's Sammy Hylton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Dagenham's Fitz Clarkson got control of the ball when Sebastian Cahill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zane Smikle in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sammy Hylton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Patrick Warrender was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FKS Stal Mielec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dagenham the free kick. Patrick Warrender hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Sebastian Cahill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fitz Clarkson made a huge save. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dagenham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zane Hazledine was slow to take the kick. During this time FKS Stal Mielec's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to FKS Stal Mielec's Sebastian Cahill getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastian Cahill could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Fitz Clarkson however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Cahill got free with Fitz Clarkson in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fitz Clarkson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dom Millman in the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zane Smikle in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sammy Hylton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Michael Millman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zane Smikle came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Dagenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zane Smikle couldn't finish the play. Zane Smikle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gwyn Carlisle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dom Millman to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dagenham's goal looked a bit too open when Dom Millman came free, but Fitz Clarkson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagenham's Zane Smikle got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zane Smikles short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Sammy Hylton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dagenham's Luke Carragher got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FKS Stal Mielec's Sammy Hylton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwyn Carlisle in the 61st minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, FKS Stal Mielec's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Carlisle came free, but Sammy Hylton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Luke Carragher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sammy Hylton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zane Smikle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Sammy Hylton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Dagenham's goal looked a bit too open when Dom Millman came free, but Fitz Clarkson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dagenham's Zane Smikle in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FKS Stal Mielec's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Carragher in the 85th minute of play forced FKS Stal Mielec's goalkeeper Sammy Hylton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Kearney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sammy Hylton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zane Smikle in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sammy Hylton saved FKS Stal Mielec from getting behind. Robert Kearney's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sammy Hylton firmly grabbed it by the left post. The FKS Stal Mielec fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dagenham were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
