The tension between the BailesFC and the Easingwold FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 8 minutes into the match, BailesFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Elliot came free, but Silvester Bensley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvester Bensley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Pollard in the 11th minute of the match. Syd Postolan lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Gavin Kerfoot struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Silvester Bensley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Easingwold FC. Silvester Bensley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from CJ Pollard went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Pollard in the 36th minute of play forced BailesFC's goalkeeper Silvester Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute CJ Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvester Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, BailesFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Midson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jeffrey Marchant could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Dennis Preston however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that CJ Pollard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvester Bensley was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Silvester Bensley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Elliot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvester Bensley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Pollard in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A hard shot by Don Roebuck from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Silvester Bensley's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 62nd minute, Easingwold FC's Neil Carragher dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Easingwold FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Ashton came free, but Dennis Preston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvester Bensley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Carragher in the 70th minute of the match. Sam Richardson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Dennis Preston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BailesFC. After 75 minutes of play, BailesFC's Jeffrey Marchant made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Preston was left in no man's land by his defense there! BailesFC's Silvester Bensley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Fleming in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, BailesFC's goalkeeper Silvester Bensley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Elliot. In the 84th minute, Austin Pinder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jeffrey Marchant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Ashton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Preston having to interfere. Joseph Elliot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Kelvin Fleming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvester Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Easingwold FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BailesFC throughout the match.
