Tommy Brooks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Morris having to interfere. Sam Tabb hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Tottenham City's Conan Woodman got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lewis Morris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Best in the 13th minute. Tommy Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kristian Best had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tommy Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sly Duckworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Cadwallader in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Tottenham City's Conan Woodman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sly Duckworth was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Hilperton United booed when Tottenham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conan Denham didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 36 in the game by Kristian Best from a close distance when the talented Lewis Morris managed to make a qualified save. Tottenham City's players were relieved. In the 38th minute, Kristian Best got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristian Bests short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Lewis Morris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Tottenham City getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Conan Denham hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, Tottenham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conan Denham to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the match, Tottenham City's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Brooks came free, but Lewis Morris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sean Cadwallader to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tommy Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tottenham City's Lewis Morris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Best in the 60th minute of play. If Kristian Best had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Tommy Brooks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Best in the 73rd minute of play forced Tottenham City's goalkeeper Lewis Morris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Brooks scored 1-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lewis Morris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hilperton United's Tommy Brooks got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Conan Denham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tommy Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewis Morris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Best fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Morris having to interfere. Tommy Brooks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lewis Morris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lewis Morris came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hilperton United's Stewart Croft. But to his dismay, Stewart Croft quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Tommy Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hilperton United had played much better football throughout.
