Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steven Tisdale kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Barfield in the 3rd minute of play forced Rapid Bucharest's goalkeeper Simon Bilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aldeburgh's goalkeeper Tyrone May, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Aldeburgh got a freekick which was hit by Ray Skinner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Barfield in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Bilton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Barfields short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Simon Bilton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thomas Barfield in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Bilton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Dominik Foggarty's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tyrone May was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Tyrone May showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Lambourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominik Foggarty to make the kick off. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rapid Bucharest had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
