After a defensive mix-up in Titchfield's zone, Jasper Doughty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denzil Pullen came out of the goal and Jasper Doughty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Titchfield's Wes Preston tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vince Fenwick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Titchfield's Fraser Staple ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brendon Topham. Brendon Topham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When Harry Collins came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Titchfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Collins couldn't finish the play. Timothy Vickers took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brendon Topham. Brendon Topham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Harry Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Harry Collins notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Malmesbury's Brendon Topham. Brendon Topham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Titchfield could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malmesbury throughout the match.
