After 5 played minutes Titchfield got a freekick which was hit by Harry Collins. 9 minutes into the match, spurs city's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Collins came free, but Ross Westlake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Vickers in the 12th minute of play forced spurs city's goalkeeper Ross Westlake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Harry Collins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Titchfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Collins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ross Westlake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes spurs city got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Budge. In the 16th minute, Harry Collins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timothy Vickers in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ross Westlake saved spurs city from getting behind. After 24 played minutes spurs city got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Budge. In the 26thth minute of the game Harry Collins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but spurs city's Ross Westlake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harry Collins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ross Westlake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Marty Blackburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denzil Pullen having to interfere. Denzil Pullen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasey Potter in the 36th minute of the match. Marty Blackburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timothy Vickers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Westlake having to interfere. Fraser Staple received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ross Westlake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kasey Potter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Fraser Staple fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Titchfield's protests and gave Fraser Staple a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Titchfield's Fraser Staple got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 54 minutes of play, spurs city's Marty Blackburn made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denzil Pullen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denzil Pullen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Blackburn in the 59th minute of play. Timothy Vickers succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Kasey Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titchfield's Denzil Pullen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasey Potter in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, spurs city's Marty Blackburn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denzil Pullen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 83rd minute Timothy Vickers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Westlake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vic Moss kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Timothy Vickers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Titchfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timothy Vickers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Fraser Staple hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The spurs city fans cheered their team off the field, for while Titchfield had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
