Ty Hayles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ty Hayles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Winehouse in the 11th minute of play. Ty Hayles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Winehouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Holton-le-Clay FC's zone, Richard Coulthard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Simms came out of the goal and Richard Coulthard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Rufus Williams took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bob Simms to make any attempt to save it. If Rufus Williams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sammy Gill fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holton-le-Clay FC's protests and gave Sammy Gill a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Holton-le-Clay FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sammy Gill hit a great ball. Reuben Sissons hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game Carlton Clough kicked a great long shot which passed Bob Simms straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-1. One couldn't see Carlton Clough behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mickey Parkin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ty Hayles saved Tottenham from getting behind. Drew Brownlow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ty Hayles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tottenham's goalkeeper Ty Hayles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CJ Winehouse struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ty Hayles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holton-le-Clay FC. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Richard Coulthard hit a great ball. In the 49th minute CJ Winehouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Hayles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rufus Williams to strike the kick off in the second half. Bob Simms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufus Williams, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Tottenham's Ty Hayles got control of the ball when CJ Winehouse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richard Coulthard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mickey Parkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Hayles having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Fish to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, CJ Winehouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holton-le-Clay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but CJ Winehouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when CJ Winehouse got free with Ty Hayles in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sam Mallon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tottenham's goalkeeper Ty Hayles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when CJ Winehouse got free with Ty Hayles in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andy Dixon hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. CJ Winehouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Richard Coulthard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tottenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Coulthard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 100th minute Tottenham were awarded a corner. Carlton Clough went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Tottenham's Damien Coburn getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
