Glyn Dimmock took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lance Orchard. Walsall's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Harry Collins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Lance Orchard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timothy Vickers might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lance Orchard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 58th minute, Harry Collins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lance Orchard. The goal made the score 0-5. If Timothy Vickers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Wes Preston sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Walsall's Lance Orchard didn't even have to move. Titchfield's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
