Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stan Jenkinson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Seb Crowther made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rod Elding in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Stan Jenkinson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Transnistria FA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Transnistria FA's Stewart Davenport got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Seb Crowther managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Newhaven FC's Sidney Knowles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Seb Crowther made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Renwick in the 22nd minute of play. Wesley Renwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Seb Crowther tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Transnistria FA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stewart Davenport to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Wesley Renwick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Renwick during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Newhaven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Renwick to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes of play, Transnistria FA's Joshua Atherton made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Todd Mayfield was left in no man's land by his defense there! Seb Crowther took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Renwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Renwick struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Seb Crowther didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newhaven FC. In the 42nd match minute, Newhaven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Medley to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Transnistria FA's Stan Jenkinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Todd Mayfield made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Transnistria FA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley Renwick to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Transnistria FA's Stan Jenkinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Todd Mayfield narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Theo Perryman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Transnistria FA's Thom Tandy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 56 minutes into the match, Newhaven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Jenkinson came free, but Todd Mayfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Sidney Knowles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Transnistria FA's Seb Crowther was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stan Jenkinson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Todd Mayfield skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Stan Jenkinson came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Transnistria FA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stan Jenkinson couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Leroy Sparks put in a rough tackle. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Newhaven FC. Gus Pell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Seb Crowther. 1-3. Transnistria FA's Seb Crowther played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Renwick in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Newhaven FC defense, Stewart Davenport kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Todd Mayfield. The Newhaven FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Todd Mayfield should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Stewart Davenport hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Renwick in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seb Crowther prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th match minute, Transnistria FA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stewart Davenport to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes Newhaven FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Knowles. When Theo Perryman fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newhaven FC's protests and gave Theo Perryman a yellow card for diving instead. Stan Jenkinsons short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Todd Mayfield to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute, Lewis Rotherfield fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
