In the 3rd minute, Steven Ackland made a precise shot to the right of Junior Weir. Leyton Orient F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Allan Marshall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Weir having to interfere. A collision led to Leyton Orient F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Victor Brookman hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Allan Marshall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Weir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Ackland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Marshall in the 25th minute of play forced Leyton Orient F.C.'s goalkeeper Junior Weir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seer Green's Jon Black played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Webb in the 28th minute of play. If Allan Marshall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jamie Mitchell fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leyton Orient F.C.'s protests and gave Jamie Mitchell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Jamie Mitchell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seer Green's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Huey Holstead in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Huey Holstead got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Junior Weir quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Junior Weir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Ackland in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Marshall was the one to do the kick off. Donald Webb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junior Weir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Marshall, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Junior Weir was a little too slow when Martyn Canning got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. Junior Weir came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Seer Green's Steven Ackland. But to his dismay, Steven Ackland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 77 played minutes Leyton Orient F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd Hislop. After a defensive mix-up in Seer Green's zone, Donald Webb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Black came out of the goal and Donald Webb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Leyton Orient F.C.'s Felix Jones got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Felix Jones hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Seer Green's Allan Marshall got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Seer Green players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
