The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kasey Plumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Byron Clement reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clive Bittner. The goal made the score 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Firth during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Tom Firth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, RED STAR BRASOV's goal looked a bit too open when Byron Clement came free, but Clive Bittner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED STAR BRASOV's Clive Bittner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Dowrick in the 19th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Byron Clement who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RED STAR BRASOV's Clive Bittner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Byron Clement kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clive Bittner. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Kasey Plumber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Biernat. Legends FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasey Plumber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RED STAR BRASOV's goalkeeper Clive Bittner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Kasey Plumber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legends FC's Alfred Biernat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfred Biernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Jowsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sonny Dowrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Bittner having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Tom Firth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasey Plumber to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Kasey Plumber managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED STAR BRASOV's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasey Plumber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Biernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calum Beadle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Biernat having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Sonny Dowrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clive Bittner was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Byron Clement sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Byron Clement left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legends FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Rodney Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Biernat having to interfere. A collision led to RED STAR BRASOV getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kasey Plumber hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kasey Plumber managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED STAR BRASOV's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasey Plumber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasey Plumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Legends FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Damion Mabbutt hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, RED STAR BRASOV's Allan Aspinall got a free kick in the 96th minute. Legends FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
