In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Seer Green's goalkeeper Jon Black, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play, Seer Green's Steven Ackland made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clive Bittner was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 31 played minutes, RED STAR BRASOV's William Moore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon Black came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RED STAR BRASOV reached it. If Allan Marshall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Seer Green got a freekick which was hit by Pete Moorhouse. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Jowsey was the one to do the kick off. Jon Black made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kasey Plumber in the 52nd minute. Pete Moorhouse hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Seer Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyn Canning to maneuver through the defense. Allan Marshall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RED STAR BRASOV's Clive Bittner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Marshall in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Seer Green's Steven Ackland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clive Bittner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. RED STAR BRASOV's Clive Bittner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Ackland in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Marshall in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clive Bittner saved RED STAR BRASOV from getting behind. Steven Ackland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Bittner having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Moorhouse in the 78th minute of play forced RED STAR BRASOV's goalkeeper Clive Bittner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Callum Clough took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clive Bittner. RED STAR BRASOV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Allan Marshall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Bittner having to interfere. Clive Bittner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Ackland in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that Seer Green were the better team. Seer Green's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
