The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rhys Hicks during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Rhys Hicks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zaq Morning came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Timperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaq Morning couldn't finish the play. After 10 minutes, Matty Pinder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plumstead and the Timperley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Plumstead's Matty Pinder got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ronnie Deveraux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seth Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calvin Wardill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zaq Morning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Max Griggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Timperley got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Horsell. Tod White fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Deveraux having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Calvin Wardill took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Max Griggs to make any attempt to save it. Plumstead's Max Griggs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Plumstead from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seth Beck was the one to do the kick off. Zaq Morning struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Max Griggs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timperley. In the 55th minute of the match Henry Forrest sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Griggs skillfully saved the ball. Matty Pinder kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Timperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alec Bodsworth to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Zaq Morning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Griggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Plumstead's Ronnie Stansfield got a free kick in the 67th minute. Zaq Morning scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Max Griggs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Zaq Morning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Griggs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calvin Wardill went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mitch Young kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Timperley had won after a very even match.
