Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Seth Beck started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Folkestone City's goalkeeper David Groves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donny Haper was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Folkestone City's Sam Mitchell-King slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Max Griggs. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 14th minute Sam Mitchell-King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Griggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Plumstead's Max Griggs got control of the ball when Donny Haper tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Rory Hopgood shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Griggs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Plumstead's Tod White got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Seth Beck notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Folkestone City's David Groves. David Groves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Tim Jump was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Folkestone City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plumstead the free kick. The supporters of Plumstead booed when Folkestone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Jump didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tod White in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Groves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sam Mitchell-King to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Sam Mitchell-King notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Plumstead's Max Griggs. Max Griggs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Folkestone City fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Folkestone City's Donny Haper looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute Seth Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Groves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tim Jump was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. A collision led to Folkestone City getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Tim Jump hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Seth Beck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seth Beck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Groves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Folkestone City's Sam Mitchell-King got a free kick in the 78th minute. Donny Haper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Griggs having to interfere. David Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seth Beck, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Hugh Nethercoat hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Brynn Widdrington sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Folkestone City's David Groves didn't even have to move. Folkestone City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
