Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Calvin Clist started the match with the kick off. Jay Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Davis in the 8th minute of play. When All-blacks's Gerry Dennison in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burnham on Sea's goalie prevented a goal. Dale Davis hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Calvin Clist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Hollingsworth succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Hollingsworth got free with Dean Gaskell in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerry Dennison in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jay Smith saved Burnham on Sea from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Calvin Clist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnham on Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Calvin Clist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dean Gaskell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calvin Clist might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dean Gaskell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calvin Clist ran back to his position shaking his head. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Burnham on Sea! In the 34th minute there was a penalty for All-blacks. Jeremy Mortimer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jay Smith. 1-1. If Mark Hollingsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, All-blacks's Trevor Simms got a free kick in the 40th minute. Calvin Clist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dean Gaskell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mark Hollingsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Davis to make the kick off. Johnathon Sullivan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jeremy Mortimer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Burnham on Sea's Jay Smith proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Burnham on Sea from getting a goal against them. The corner led All-blacks's Jeremy Mortimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Jay Smith despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gerry Dennison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jay Smith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conan Smith during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Burnham on Sea booed when All-blacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conan Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Mark Hollingsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Gaskell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Simeon Torpey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. All-blacks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnham on Sea the free kick. Dean Gaskell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Hollingsworth in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Clist in the 83rd minute of play forced All-blacks's goalkeeper Dean Gaskell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Trevor Simms was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Trevor Simms kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes All-blacks got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Mortimer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Hollingsworth in the 89th minute of play forced All-blacks's goalkeeper Dean Gaskell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean Gaskell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathon Sullivan in the 92nd minute of the match. Gerry Dennison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jay Smith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play All-blacks's Conan Smith was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, All-blacks's Conan Smith got a free kick in the 96th minute. Dean Gaskell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Hollingsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The All-blacks players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Burnham on Sea from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
