After a defensive mix-up in Hendon United FC's zone, Zaq Morning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matt Goldthorpe came out of the goal and Zaq Morning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Trey Elwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trey Elwick in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronnie Deveraux saved Timperley from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Timperley's zone, Trey Elwick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Deveraux came out of the goal and Trey Elwick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tom Kent fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hendon United FC's protests and gave Tom Kent a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Tom Kent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timperley's Zaq Morning got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Bobby Monk from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Ronnie Deveraux's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Louis Armitage's late challenge caught a Timperley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Armitage helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Louis Armitage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jay Staple could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ronnie Deveraux made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Trey Elwick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hendon United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Trey Elwick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Deveraux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trey Elwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Deveraux having to interfere. Zaq Morning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Goldthorpe having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calvin Wardill made a kick off. Ronnie Deveraux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trey Elwick went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute, Jay Staple got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trey Elwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ronnie Deveraux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronnie Deveraux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Staple, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jay Staple sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronnie Deveraux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Elwick in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Zaq Morning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timperley's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaq Morning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 76th minute, Warren Kirkpatrick sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Timperley's Ronnie Deveraux didn't even have to move. Ronnie Deveraux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Staple, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
