After 15 played minutes KS Barkas Tolkmicko got a freekick which was hit by Ron Longstaffe. 15 minutes into the match, KS Barkas Tolkmicko's goalkeeper Shane Hudson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lance Leach. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Barkas Tolkmicko's goalkeeper Shane Hudson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shane Hudson was a little too slow when Alfie Featherson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 27th match minute, KS Barkas Tolkmicko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Wyrzykowski to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, KS Barkas Tolkmicko's Shane Hudson got control of the ball when Niall Rawson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, KS Barkas Tolkmicko's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Nailor came free, but Shane Hudson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ashton-in-Makerfield's zone, Sebastian Wyrzykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Fleetwood came out of the goal and Sebastian Wyrzykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Rod Shakespeare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Ashton-in-Makerfield got a freekick which was hit by Lance Leach. KS Barkas Tolkmicko's Shane Hudson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Nailor in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, KS Barkas Tolkmicko's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Nailor came free, but Shane Hudson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Richard Nailor made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Darryl Battersby managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Barkas Tolkmicko's supporters rose to their feet, but Darryl Battersby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Fleetwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Ashton-in-Makerfield defense, Sebastian Wyrzykowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Fleetwood. The Ashton-in-Makerfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Fleetwood should have stopped the shot. Shane Hudson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niall Rawson's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Shane Hudson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niall Rawson in the 61st minute of play. Sebastian Wyrzykowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. David Fleetwood made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Sebastian Wyrzykowski sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Alfie Featherson notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of KS Barkas Tolkmicko's Shane Hudson. Shane Hudson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ashton-in-Makerfield were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KS Barkas Tolkmicko for a fine match.
