Spectators: 5029 (Terracing: 4007, Seating: 1022, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nicholas Norton made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Blair Mortimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Roy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicholas Norton in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daryl Roy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicholas Norton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Roy having to interfere. Blair Mortimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ash Peakman lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for East Ham FC! Blair Mortimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Roy having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in East Ham FC's zone, Jon Holt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Frain came out of the goal and Jon Holt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Frain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Holt in the 29th minute of the match. If Callum Jump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. East Ham FC's Callum Jump got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luke Preece during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luke Preece kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Daryl Roy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Mortimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Callum Jump's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daryl Roy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jon Holt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Knapton City's Les Mead got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Daryl Roy came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by East Ham FC's Nicholas Norton. But to his dismay, Nicholas Norton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tod Peyton hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Blair Mortimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Knapton City getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bryan Roberts hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Laurence Garrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Callum Jump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurence Garrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Daryl Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Les Mead threw the ball into play from the sideline. East Ham FC's Laurence Garrett quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Garrett in the 75th minute of play forced Knapton City's goalkeeper Daryl Roy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavin Pitman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Blair Mortimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daryl Roy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, East Ham FC's Kurt Frain got control of the ball when Ash Allanson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Knapton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Les Mead to maneuver through the defense. When Blair Mortimer came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the East Ham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blair Mortimer couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Callum Jump in the 96th minute of play forced Knapton City's goalkeeper Daryl Roy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the East Ham FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
