Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justin Rotherfield to make the kick off. Harry Stockley charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Thomas Cunningham got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 70 played minutes STEAUA BUCURESTI got a freekick which was hit by Hayden Culverhouse. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Adrian Myers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save STEAUA BUCURESTI from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Hadleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Rotherfield came free, but David Tyson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hadleigh's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
