Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Justin Rotherfield kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Heathfield Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Hayden Culverhouse came free, but Dylon Pettifer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Justin Rotherfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Rotherfield in the 11th minute of play forced Heathfield Rangers's goalkeeper Dylon Pettifer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austen Pinder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Adrian Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Austen Pinder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrian Myers. Dylon Pettifer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Austen Pinder was the one to do the kick off. Dominic Mahon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Myers having to interfere. When Kev Steadman came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Heathfield Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kev Steadman couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Austen Pinder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Myers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Barker charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clive Barker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Clive Barker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Myers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Nelthorpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heathfield Rangers were furious when Vincent Meade was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Heathfield Rangers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of STEAUA BUCURESTI:s goal. Clive Barker shot from long distance in the 83rd minute, but Dylon Pettifer was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Dylon Pettifer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Stockley in the 84th minute of the match. If Dominic Mahon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Mahon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Myers having to make a save. Dominic Mahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Myers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordan Nelthorpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 99th minute of the match, Rupert Burrows got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dylon Pettifer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Heathfield Rangers were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
