With a left leg Matthew Duxbury saved Aveley AFC from getting behind. Doug Leather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ivor Bell fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bhatti Slappers F.C's protests and gave Ivor Bell a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bhatti Slappers F.C's Ivor Bell got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micheal Ingram in the 33rd minute of play forced Bhatti Slappers F.C's goalkeeper Guy Barnfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doug Leather made a kick off. A collision led to Aveley AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ben Dingle hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield got control of the ball when Richard Pope tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doug Leather in the 60th minute of play forced Aveley AFC's goalkeeper Matthew Duxbury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Dingle scored 0-5 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guy Barnfield, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Justin Pope took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guy Barnfield. Guy Barnfield dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Dingle in the 69th minute of play. Micheal Ingram could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Guy Barnfield made a huge save. Bhatti Slappers F.C's Guy Barnfield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Bhatti Slappers F.C from getting a goal against them. Ben Dingle hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Tommy Marlow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guy Barnfield, 0-7. 81 minutes into the game, Tommy Marlow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guy Barnfield. Tommy Marlow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Doug Leather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guy Barnfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Marlow in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Bhatti Slappers F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doug Leather to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Micheal Ingram got free with Guy Barnfield in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doug Leather in the 96th minute of play forced Aveley AFC's goalkeeper Matthew Duxbury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bhatti Slappers F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aveley AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
