After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid C.F.'s zone, CJ Afful stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Hay came out of the goal and CJ Afful tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Hay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Flintoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Terry Elliot's late challenge caught a Niepokonani FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terry Elliot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Terry Elliot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casey Flintoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Hay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casey Flintoff ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 played minutes Real Madrid C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Andy Hall. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid C.F.'s Gez Frain got a free kick in the 20th minute. The attack was good, but when CJ Afful in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ronny Hay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Afful, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Deon Edwards was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Karl Coyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Will Clifton in the 34th minute. Real Madrid C.F.'s Ronny Hay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Afful in the 36th minute of play. Ronny Hay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casey Flintoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Hay came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Niepokonani FC's Casey Flintoff. But to his dismay, Casey Flintoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deon Edwards stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casey Flintoff received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronny Hay came out and tried to block the shot, but Casey Flintoff slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. If Deon Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niepokonani FC's Darren Crayon suffered a sore thigh after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Will Clifton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid C.F.'s Will Clifton got a free kick in the 84th minute. Terry Elliot was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
