The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronny Hay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the match, The Wild Forest's goal looked a bit too open when Deon Edwards came free, but Al Burton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Hay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keiran Phimister went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ronny Hay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Jobling in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Deon Edwards fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Al Burton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deon Edwards's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When Will Clifton came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Real Madrid C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Will Clifton couldn't finish the play. Real Madrid C.F.'s Ronny Hay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keiran Phimister in the 23rd minute of play. Ronny Hay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Jobling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Al Burton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Will Clifton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute of the match Seb Waller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Al Burton skillfully saved the ball. Will Clifton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Will Clifton in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Al Burton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andy Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The Real Madrid C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Real Madrid C.F.'s Will Clifton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Will Clifton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Al Burton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Hay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keiran Phimister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Real Madrid C.F. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gez Frain hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Keiran Phimister kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronny Hay. That made the score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Deon Edwards managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Deon Edwards was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Al Burton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Al Burton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deon Edwards in the 91st minute of the match. Al Burton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Clifton, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Chants of The Wild Forest echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Real Madrid C.F. had held the ball for most of the match.
