With a little luck, Ninfield AFC's Perry York got control of the ball when Micheal Dickens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, TurkishPower's Micheal Dickens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Micheal Dickens might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perry York. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micheal Dickens ran back to his position shaking his head. When TurkishPower's Leroy Dunne in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ninfield AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Denis Donnelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leroy Dunne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Andre Ploughman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phil Bourne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Perry York. Ninfield AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th minute, Jay Knowles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tod Beecham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Donnelly's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Jay Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Knowles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reggie Bateman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Beecham having to interfere. Tod Beecham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Donnelly in the 41st minute of play. Micheal Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Perry York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Charlie Willmott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jay Knowles made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Micheal Dickens managed to get in a good position for a shot. TurkishPower's supporters rose to their feet, but Micheal Dickens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry York breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes Ninfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Donnelly. Tod Beecham was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Charlie Willmott capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Charlie Willmott really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ninfield AFC's Perry York played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Dunne in the 68th minute of play. Charlie Willmott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tod Beecham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Gordon Parkinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ninfield AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TurkishPower the free kick. 81 minutes into the game, one of Ninfield AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tod Beecham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Knowles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micheal Dickens took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perry York. Perry York dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jay Knowles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Beecham having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jay Knowles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tod Beecham was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ninfield AFC's zone, Leroy Dunne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perry York came out of the goal and Leroy Dunne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute Leroy Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perry York saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micheal Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Perry York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TurkishPower fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ninfield AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
