Lee Birchall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Ferrell in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Jay Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Knowles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blackburn Olympic's Lee Birchall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Bateman in the 12th minute of play. Lee Birchall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay Knowles in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Chaz Soussan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blackburn Olympic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninfield AFC the free kick. After 17 played minutes Blackburn Olympic got a freekick which was hit by Chaz Soussan. Jay Knowles struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Lee Birchall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ninfield AFC. The supporters of Ninfield AFC booed when Blackburn Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spike Impey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ninfield AFC's Jay Knowles got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jay Knowles came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ninfield AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay Knowles couldn't finish the play. After having played for 33 minutes, Denis Donnelly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Donnelly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ninfield AFC's Charlie Willmott got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ninfield AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Denis Donnelly hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Chaz Soussan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackburn Olympic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaz Soussan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 played minutes Ninfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Willmott. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Lee Birchall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Spike Impey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackburn Olympic and the Ninfield AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Blackburn Olympic's Spike Impey got a free kick in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Albert Bowe notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ninfield AFC's Perry York. Perry York was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Albert Bowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perry York saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les Beaver kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Blackburn Olympic's Jeff Wilmott tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chaz Soussan in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perry York prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albert Bowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Perry York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlie Willmott charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Willmott the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jay Knowles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Birchall having to interfere. If Denis Donnelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Bowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Perry York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Jay Knowles took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Lee Birchall to make any attempt to save it. Ninfield AFC played a much better game than Blackburn Olympic and deserved their victory. The Blackburn Olympic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
