Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dale Downing made the kick off which started today's match. Jay Knowles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Callery having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Ninfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dom Perryman came free, but Perry York reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Totley City's Dale Downing got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Dom Perryman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Dom Perryman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry York breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Gordon Parkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perry York came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Totley City's Dom Perryman. But to his dismay, Dom Perryman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Denis Donnelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Ninfield AFC's Jay Knowles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shawn Callery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dom Perryman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jay Knowles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Bonds's late challenge caught a Ninfield AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Bonds helped the player get up and apologised. Tim Bonds kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jay Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninfield AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Knowles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shawn Callery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Totley City's Dom Perryman in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ninfield AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ninfield AFC's goalkeeper Perry York, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jay Knowles to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ninfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Downing came free, but Perry York reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dom Perryman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Perry York skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Downing in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perry York prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dom Perryman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the last second Perry York throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dale Downing in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Ninfield AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Denis Donnelly hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Downing in the 71st minute of play forced Ninfield AFC's goalkeeper Perry York to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dale Downing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry York having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jay Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninfield AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Knowles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry York showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Downing in the 91st minute of the match. Dale Downing struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Perry York didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Totley City. Perry York made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dom Perryman in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Totley City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
