Spectators: 7029 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rupert Lister made the kick off which started today's match. Jay Knowles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Blakewell having to interfere. In the 16th minute Jay Knowles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Blakewell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Rose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry York having to interfere. If Jay Knowles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jay Knowles in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toby Blakewell saved Camberwell from getting behind. Toby Blakewell came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ninfield AFC's Charlie Willmott. But to his dismay, Charlie Willmott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 46th minute, Jay Knowles made a precise shot to the right of Toby Blakewell. Camberwell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jay Knowles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ben Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Perry York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ninfield AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Denis Donnelly hit a great ball. If Jay Knowles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Charlie Willmott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toby Blakewell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Knowles, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Rupert Lister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Perry York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Rose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner ended in Sid Warner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Camberwell's Toby Blakewell did a great save. In the 76th minute, Ben Rose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Jay Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Knowles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jay Knowles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jay Knowles in the 85th minute of play forced Camberwell's goalkeeper Toby Blakewell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute of the match, Jay Knowles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Toby Blakewell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 93rd minute Peter Worrall suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Denis Donnelly's late challenge caught a Camberwell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Donnelly helped the player get up and apologised. The Camberwell supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ninfield AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ninfield AFC.
