Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Turner kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Turner in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stan Church saved Manchester United FC from getting behind. 1-0 became the score in the 5th minute when David Turner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Manchester United FC's Stan Church got control of the ball when Darryl Sykes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teddy Pringle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Beasley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Bye having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Coppull FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Oldham to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United FC's zone, Darryl Sykes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stan Church came out of the goal and Darryl Sykes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Neil Crane hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Turner came free, but Stan Church reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stan Church made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darryl Sykes in the 28th minute. Mattias Fairbank kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Manchester United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Trevor Lock scored to the left of an out of position Stan Church, making the score, 2-0. Manchester United FC's Stan Church proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United FC from getting a goal against them. Stan Church showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Turner, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. David Turner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teddy Pringle came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Manchester United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Pringle couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Beasley made a kick off. Ashley Bye made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Teddy Pringle sent off a good shot on target. Manchester United FC's Stan Church played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Sykes in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Nicholls to maneuver through the defense. Coppull FC's James Furlong couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Manchester United FC. David Turner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play, Coppull FC's Darryl Sykes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stan Church was left in no man's land by his defense there! When David Turner came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Coppull FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Turner couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Sammy Page mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coppull FC and the Manchester United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Sammy Page hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darryl Sykes struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Stan Church didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coppull FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Turner in the 85th minute of play forced Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Stan Church to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Marty Benbow from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Ashley Bye's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Paddy Hart hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Calum Rigg hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Coppull FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
