Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jacob East made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, KingTeam's goalkeeper Kristopher Holstead had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darryl Sykes. In the 9th match minute, KingTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Tully to maneuver through the defense. David Turner was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Coppull FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Walter Milton's late challenge caught a Coppull FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Milton helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KingTeam getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Walter Milton hit a great ball. Kristopher Holstead made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Darryl Sykes sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, KingTeam's goal looked a bit too open when David Turner came free, but Kristopher Holstead reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacob East had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by David Turner got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 29th minute of the match, David Turner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristopher Holstead saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacob East received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ashley Bye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Childs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Turner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristopher Holstead read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Darryl Sykes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darryl Sykes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darryl Sykes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristopher Holstead read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the game, Coppull FC's Darryl Sykes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristopher Holstead made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If David Turner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Turner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Oldham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristopher Holstead. KingTeam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. David Turner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Kristopher Holstead tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Childs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coppull FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
